Soft-closing mechanism for upright pianos-(EHH-204811)

An easy to fit, retrofitable soft close mechanism for upright piano fallboards, designed specifically to prevent trapped and injured fingers or damage to the piano caused by a slamming lid.

With a hydraulically lowering and rising arm the lid slowly and elegantly falls, also adding a stylish touch to your upright piano.

The soft-close arm is easy to affix to the piano with a self adhesive backing, so no alteration to the cheek block of the piano is required and it can easy be removed if need be.

Rubberised wheels on the end of the arm stop the mechanism from scratching the fall board, and a stylish self-adhesive chrome strip provides extra protection.

A soft-close mechanism is a worthwhile addition if children are likely to be using the piano, or in any situation where ensuring safety is paramount, be it a school, church or community venue.
