Introducing the Irmler P118 Upright Piano

The Irmler P118 upright piano is a wonderful value piano, which at 118cm tall produces a rich, warm and resonant tone.

To keep the price competitive the piano is assembled in Asia at the world's largest and most advanced piano manufacturing facility, and is carefully 'finished' at Bluthner's Leipzig factory before delivery to the UK.

Specially engineered soundboards

The soundboard of the Irmler Studio range is produced from close grained, high altitude northern spruce, with an offset thin epidermal layer of spruce on each side. This specially engineered soundboard material enhances the energy transfer across the soundboard, while also protecting the integrity of the wood against climatic change.

Low maintenance costs

Cut-thread tuning pins are utilised, providing more precision and control for the tuner than traditionally 'stamped' tuning pins. This makes for a better and longer lasting tunings, thus lowering maintenance costs

An entry level piano with a grown-up design

While most pianos at this price point are offered in a contemporary style compact cabinet, the Irmler P118 is a traditional style instrument with pedestal legs and castors.
