The Acoustic Screen by RAT Stands is designed to deflect sound waves away from the player immediately in front of it, while providing maximum visibility for the player behind. The stand benefits from a strong and stable design and nests for compact storage.

A bio-safety solution

Barriers for schools, orchestras, and choirs are in high demand to allow music making again. In addition to it's acoustic shielding properties, the RAT-65Q10 also provides an ideal bio-safety screen.

The stand provides a good size protective bio-screen barrier between players, whilst still allowing full visual contact. This is great for one-to-one teaching as well as for rehearsing bands, orchestras, and choirs. All members of your ensemble can rehearse and perform safely, whilst importantly still being able to see one-another.

Strong and Rigid

The heavy-gauge steel stem is very strong and rigid. This stand doesn’t sway and yet can be adjusted smoothly and easily to the desired height, where it stays automatically. The stem is coated in tough, scratch resistant epoxy.

Solid Base

The base is made from tubular steel for strength and rigidity without excess weight. Rubber feet ensure 3-point contact on uneven surfaces whilst protecting your floor and preventing clatter. The base is coated in black nylon for ultimate durability.

Friction Joints

Constant friction is maintained by powerful springs in the friction joints of the stem and where the Acoustic screen joins the stem. This means they stay automatically at whatever angle you place them – there are no knobs to fiddle with or lose, and they will never go slack.
