The Juno reed has been produced by the well known and respected reed manufacturer Vandoren. This company have poured all of their combined expertise into producing a reed that has been designed and cut specifically for the student and it has been universally well received. The reed has a consistency and overall quality which is more associated with the more professional reed products produced by Vandoren but the company have realised that to encourage young players consistent quality of tone is important right from the outset. There is nothing more encouraging to the beginner than producing a good tone - and with a Juno you do!

Brilliant sounding reeds are produced from well chosen materials and Vandoren grow theirs on the Mediterranean coast where the climate is perfect! It has, what Vandoren call, and 'advanced design' which essentially means that they have considered the challenges that meet all beginners when producing this reed.
