Aulos 103N Alouette descant recorder-(EHH-103N)

The Aulos 103N Alouette recorder is the ideal model for very young students. Whereas most recorders come in 3 pieces with an adjustable thumb rest (which does come off), this model is of one a one piece design and has a fixed thumb rest. It does not need putting together and does not require any adjustments to be made prior to playing. This can be very useful in the classroom where 30+ young players trying to put together their 3 piece recorders can waste precious lesson time.

This is a descant / soprano model in the key of C and as such is similar to the 205A Robin model. It also has the same curved wind way design which can really help with consistency of tone quality.
Like most descant / recorder models the range is from C above middle C to the D two octaves above, more experienced players are sometimes able to get higher still.
