A great set for teaching high frequency words in phases 2-5 with 40 double-sided, colour-coded cards – 10 cards for each phase.

Children choose a card with the background colour showing face up to show the picture of the word.

Key Features

• They identify the correct word to match the gap, then lace the word and place it on the card
• Only one word will fit and the answer is on the reverse of the card
• All the words are taken from the High Frequency Words list
• The beads are orange, dark purple and light purple to match phases 2, 3 and 5
• A white bead with an apostrophe is also included to allow you to make high frequency words which include an apostrophe
• Beads can be used independently to create pseudo words to check phonic recognition
