The HB-100 diatonic set of hand chime is the most popular product in the Suzuki range of hand bell-chimes. The standard, diatonic C52-C64 scale is enough to perform simple melodies on its own, but the addition of the F# and Bb notes expand the available range a little more. Great as a group percussion instrument, also works well in school bands and church and ensemble groups.
The Suzuki chime is beautifully made from a light weight aluminium alloy and its resonant tone quality can be altered with its adjustable striking mechanism. Each bar is carefully labelled with is note name and also features a diagram which shows the notes position on the musical stave - all excellent teaching aids.This set is also supplied with a good and robust hard case which protects the chimes when not in use.
